j J Oklahomans for Healthcare Reform's Town Hall Meetings in Noble, Lawton, Muskogee, Stillwater
and Broken Arrow/Tulsa were a success. j The
Town Hall meeting in Noble was the first of a series of meetings planned across Oklahoma this year. Dr. Rene McNall,
Pediatric Oncologist from OUHSC, is moderating some of these events along with others. We would like to thank Sen.
John Sparks, Sen. Kenneth Corn, Rep. Eric Proctor, Rep. Wallace Collins, Rep. Scott Martin, Rep. Joe Dorman and the people
of Noble who made the event possible. j The
Town Hall meeting in Lawton was the second held. Ms. Nancy Thomason, founder and President of the Oklahoma Brain Tumor
Foundation, moderated the event. We would like to thank Rep. Ann Coody, Rep. Don Armes, Rep. Joe Dorman, Sen. Randy
Bass and the citizens of Lawton who made the event possible. J The Town Hall meeting in Stillwater was the fourth held. Ms.
Thomason moderated the event and Rep. Lee Denney and Rep. Cory Williams were our panelist. We would like to thank
them and the citizens of Stillwater for making this event possible. j The Town Hall meeting in Broken Arrow was the fifth held. Mr.
Wayne Rohde moderated the event and Rep. Mike Ritze, Rep. Eric Proctor and Sen. Jim Wilson were our panelist. We would
like to thank them along with NSU and the citizens of Broken Arrow and Tulsa who made this event possible. j We are encouraging medical practitioners, local business
leaders, local town officials, State Agency and Department officials, along with our elected legislators to attend the series
of meetings to listen to issues from our citizens and to provide necessary information and discussion.
